Crocheted Corner to Corner (C2C) blanket

13 Sep

I joined the corner to corner craze with everyone else on our facebook crochet forums.  I decided to do a boys toddler blanket and found watching the youtube  instructions very easy.  This was the video I found easiest:

I actually didn’t much like my colours I chose.  I did however enjoy the pattern and the texture it gave.

I finished it off with a few rows of single crochet.  I was by this point disappointed with my colour choice and just wanted to finished it quickly.   I didn’t like the dark green and wish I had used some cream earlier on.  I didn’t have cream so finally introduced white a little too late.

Sometimes I hate somehing I made that I initially thought I would love. If I put it away for a while and come back to it later, I usually find I like it again. I thought your colors were very nice. Sometimes I think its hard to crochet for boys, because handmade things have a tendency to look a little girly or babyish. I like your “big boy” colors 🙂
